YouTube and more!

So as some of you may be aware, my first YouTube video went up this week. I had previously put up some test videos but this was the first to make it as a full fledged success.

Well I say success. To say the video is rough around the edges is somewhat of an understatement, but posting YouTube videos isn't a simple process.

This first video, which you can see HERE, is a simple 10 minute Minecraft video which took about 3 hours to make from start to finish. By the end of it, I was tired and frustrated but decided that it was a decent first attempt (but you can be the judge of that).

With an average quality video taking this long to create and examinations on the go you can see why I haven't posted a follow up yet.

Which brings me on to the point of this post. After this Friday, I will have finished at university and will be able to clean up this blog, which I do love to write, and also get some time to experiment with recording and editing techniques in order to bring out the good quality videos I set out to make.

As this blog is how I originally started, I would like to focus on this to begin with, but with your help. I would like this to eventually become a community or forum for people who subscribe to or follow me.  Reading that back, I'm not sure it comes across as I mean it; so I shall elaborate.

I want this blog to become a place where you (yes you, reading this now) can tell me what you want to see. So if you want a particular post at a particular time, you can tell me directly on here, Twitter or YouTube. Or you can go a step further and write posts yourself and submit them for moderation, and then be credited as you wish (YouTube channel, Twitter, Facebook, etc.).

So as a community based page, you can see what you choose, because honestly my opinion is not as important when you have gone out of your way to follow this blog.

Moving on to my Twitter, I feel that I have gained a majority of followers from my FIFA posts and the giveaway following them. Now don't get me wrong guys, you are awesome! I love all the support and the growing community we have built up. However...

I'm not solely a FIFA player. I love lots of games and lots of genres on lots of platforms, and I want this to reflect in what I do. I want to have different series and posts based on what I'm doing and not limit myself to a single game.

I especially don't want to do this from the get go and give you guys a false impression of what I'm trying to do here.

So with that in mind the FIFA posts will continue from this Friday as previously scheduled (That is, Sundays and Tuesdays), and I will try and do milestone giveaways as I have stated HERE, but don't be surprised when other posts go up along with them.

Now moving on from gaming (congratulations if you are still reading this!), I do want to get in to Reviewsdays once I'm clear of these pesky exams and I'd like you're input on that. For the first month or so I will be doing posts based around my interests, but I do encourage you to get in early and influence what I write about.

Please leave any comments you have on this post and check out my stuff so far (shamelessly plugged below).
